I've been to this haunted house two years in a row now and everytime I'm somewhat dissapointed. The actors looked younger than me and I'm 17 and most of the scary parts were when stupid props flung out at you from the wall. This one part we thought we walked into the costume room because there were clothes everywhere, that was pretty funny. But other than that I thought the house was really cheezy and the music I could hear inside the house was definetly not scary. The chainsaw guy at the end didnt even chase us so we walked out of the haunted house not even frightened. For 16 bucks, it's kind of a waste of money.

Actually, this is entirely possible. He explained in an earlier post that he's too tall to fit inside the building comfortably, so he's stuck with haunting the parking lot! *glee*

Naw, I'm dry as a bone.
Are you going to be there (as "P-Head") on Friday and Saturday? Your dedication to haunt performance is inspirational. I'm being completely sincere when I say this. http://www.octoberlounge.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif

Robeaukatt12 or Roger: It is becoming very obvious that you must not have enjoyed working at our haunted house. We work very hard to make our houses safe for the public and the workers and go through several safety inspections with the city to make sure they are that way. I can also assure you that we have never "paid off" workers nor have we taken canned food meant for the food bank. It sounds like you are going to come by and see "Pyramid Head" this weekend. Why don't you stop by and see me and we can clear up any other issues you might have. You are always welcome.

Are you going to be there (as "P-Head") on Friday and Saturday? It's too bad that you don't work for a classier crew. Your dedication to haunt performance is inspirational. I'm being completely sincere when I say this. http://www.octoberlounge.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif[/b]

Thank you, KathE. You were a joy to work with, very cheerful and supportive to all of your cast.
I'd like to tell you exactly who told me this, but only in private. I don't see why this person would just make up a story like that, though. If it's untrue then I apologize. After all, I didn't actually witness this particular activity. I now know of two people that will back up the story. An anonymous source recently contacted me regarding this issue.
I'd be glad to tell you the reasons I have questions regarding the importance of safety, too.
You're a sweet person-and the main reason that I enjoyed some aspects of working there.
Answer this one question for me, if possible. Why did one of your partners (scarydude) insinuate that I was a pedophile? To me, personally, that's at least a billion times more insulting than being accused of taking some canned goods. Just ridiculous!
I wonder if one of the accusers would agree to back up his story in front of you. Maybe we can arrange that.
Thanks again, KathE. You seem like a decent person. It's just that some of the others on your team are, in many ways, not so nice. I'm sure that you must have some inkling of what I'm talking about.

Oh, boy. scarydude just apologized to me privately. He ,apparently, is not affiliated with Effectech at all, according to his message. That does not ,however, change the fact that some of your crew have been accused of "stealing from the poor".
scarydude claims that he had mistaken me for another Roger, a former co-worker. I still find it to be in exceedingly poor taste to "joke" about something as heinous as pedophilia.
I accepted his apology, of course.

Yeah, but as far as I'm concerned, the curtain has fallen on this drama. Whatever they do might do behind the scenes is of no concern to me. If the accusation is true, then they must wrestle with their own consciences.
At any rate, I'm licking my paws clean of this matter.
Besides, Kathy's still a wonderful person. Nothing changes my opinion on that.

As you should my dear. Sometimes, if you dont it feeds the beasts and makes them want more. You can stand underneath my umbrella. I had to buy a big green one to hide under to protect my self from getting dirty.

Jeffie, It is apparently obvious that you missed the set up of the story for the 13th door. It is set in a hotel, as in quite possibly, a closet might exist. Hmmm think of that, a closet in a hotel. As far as your comments on the effects... No the 13th door is potentially not the best in terms of automated effects, but there are those out there that like or appreciate the effort taken to do the automation. Maybe you did donate your entry fee to the house, and maybe you should go somewhere else from now on. I hear Brutal Planet needs moron's like you to come evaluate their house. I for one, when I went through the 13th door, I found the automation well done, a bit slow in movement but well done. Everyone is going to have an opinion and you happenned to not like the 13th door. Thank you for your input. Now go somewhere else.
In other news... your attack of P head... I would love to see you attempt to carry the weight of the costume and walk on stilts as P head does. I think it takes more talent than you can spell to walk on the stilts as P head does. It appears to me that you have nothing else better to do than to run your 17 year old mouth about things that you yourself can do no better.

why should i go somewhere else? what is that supposed to mean? i gave my opinion and I said it was stupid and a waste of money. there are much better haunted houses to go to. you should stop being so rude and see that your not the only person that uses these and get a life

Angel- Your creation of P-Head was GREAT, and all the other scary guys chasing everyone around. Customers were screaming their heads off. Great job!

This was one of the others I went to tonight. I went so I could see angel. It sucks he only works on weekends. I wish I had known that. Now I might miss the chance to see him in full garb. The other house I went to was next door, but I will save that review for another room. Now let me first say, that I loved the tilts in the rooms, where you think your at a dead end only to find that your walking on a slant to the other side. That was cool. Alot of room for fun but the monday night curse was there and was shortstaffed like all of the other haunts in this town. I feel so much better knowing that scream park is not alone on school nights. I always like fog so that was a good filler. The witch head that comes out over a bed was good and got me. Alot of room that if staffed right could really get ya. Now on the flip side. I couldnt hear what the guide was saying in the elevator. It was just 3 of us in the elevator so it would have been nice to hear the story to know what the theme was. She acted well and would flick the light on and off, just needs to speak up. Now maybe I am wrong, but i thought while in the elevator it is supposed to move like its moving but its didnt. It was like going into a room dressed like an elevator. It did have a nice drop part at the end of it, but I can remember enjoying the elevator in other haunts and having it move and you felt like it was real. The other room where you stop and hear another actor talk , I couldnt hear him either. I think it was about the son or nephew of mr barrington or something. There was a guy behind the desk just sitting there and I wasnt sure what he was going to do cause I couldnt hear the other guy talking. They just need to talk louder so we can enjoy all what their saying and maybe have the kid behind the desk do something more then just turn his neck to other side. Couple of other actors missed their cue and we were already out of the room. It seemed like every actor didnt say much just came out from behind and hit the wall. That got old towards the middle. I like the surprise of someone sneaking up from behind like any other person, I just suggest that maybe not everyone do it. I would see them as I passed them so I knew as I was leaving the room they would come up and follow me. Maybe have them blend in better atleast then follow. That way its not known. There were alot of dark areas that were cool. There was a closet that was very dark and I think I scratched the actor as she tried to blend. All I could do was say sorry to her as I walked out with nothing else happening. I think this house has alot of potential and would be fun on a weekend when they could get more actors to fill in all the hall space. Now there was ONE big thing that annoyed me. Now maybe I cant add for crap. BUT the house is advertised at $24.95 for both houses per person. So I paid for myself and a friend and was charged an even $50. Now I know 10 cents is only 10 cents that just really bothered me. Just flippen advertise it at $25.00 and fine but dont steal 10cents from people and falsely advertise it. That alone turned me off and made me not enjoy the house as much. My review above was still something I wanted to do, but I have to admit, that the practice of the math alone would turn me away not to come back. Not the house or the actors but the math of the owners. If I would have pulled that at scream park....all the jerry springers guys would have had my butt on a sling till the end of the season. I would give thumbs up to the actors for trying and to break a leg so to speak for the rest of the season. But tell the owners that they need to maybe buy a caculator or have someone with extra fingers to count off to get the math right.

WITCH!!!
I was the guy who wasnt loud enough in the room with the table and the sword. My friend was behind the desk.
I know what you mean about being too quiet, cause i hear that lots. problem is, im talking really loud. i really need to get the sound turned down.
But yea, they told me you came through afterwards and all i could say was "DAMNIT'
Oh well, hopefully you'll see me as p head.
Break you down

The plus side is that you aren't sent through and immedietely run into the group in front of you and have a group on your heals.
Thanks for the reviews with conctructive criticism instead of just bashing that seems to be so common as of late, WW.

Well dammit angel...crap I pictured you as someone taller. They told me outside you only work weekends so I had no clue. You did good, just have them turn it down then so we can hear you. I came so late so you and everyone else was sick of doing the same thing all night. If I had known it was you in there I would have said something. Do you remember which I was? Maybe I will try to sneak out and come over again and see ya in full garb outside this weekend. And for Tye, thank you hon, this is what I have been telling people while they bashed my house, it does nothing but make it so negative that owners and management wont read the reviews. I would rather show the good in every haunt then the cons with some ideas to fix it up. Every haunt in town deserves our respect cause they are trying to do something our butts arent. I am just hoping that now I work with one, I dont lose my sense of getting scared.
