i went yesterday night , i felt so ripped off..i was thinking hey $25 bucks for two haunts? awesome! what a great deal for colorados top rated haunts!..i was wayyy wrong..combined they took about 20 minutes tp walk through..the actors were mediocore at best, there were way too many technical difficulties(which i can understand happening on opening night, but there shouldnt have been as many as there were) there were so many spots that could have been scare spots but there would be no one there..they need way more actors to make it somewhat good. The scenery and props were pretty good, and there were some good ideas that were poorly executed or just plain out didnt make sense.. Like why have a huge house of wax or giant creepy old looking house if we didnt even get to walk through them? i saw the house of wax and i was like ohhh crap..and then a guy pops out and told us to go around it..and then there was a big maze looking thing and an actor popped us and directed us around it..maybe we just got the crappiest one of the year since we were the first group through this season...i really hope so, i was very dissapointed and hope they get their act together.
i wouldnt even pay 5 dollars for both if i knew they were going to be as short and lame as they were.
also, just incase anyone from scream park is reading this, i felt that the train ride in endless graveyard was pointless. the train was much too small to fit a normal sized person comfortably, and the trail would be much more scary to walk. It is a good idea, just not executed very well. Another thing, i didnt like the train because going through with groups other than your own is very annoying and in my opinion detracts from the haunt experience.
there were a few things i liked, i thought the trampoline guy was cool, as was walking through the metal tunnel with people making all kinds of noise on it..i couldnt tell if there was a chainsaw guy right next to it but it sure sounded like it, and would be very scary to have a chainsaw coming at you in that tunnel..the chainsaws would have been more scary if they actually chased us, not all of them did but the ones that did were alot of fun.
the clown room was designed very well and was one of the best i have seen, but again it lacked actors. there was one guy in there when there were good scare spots for at least 4 or 5 clowns.
if i had to rate it i would rate it as follows
Scare Factor: 2
Actors: 2
Set Design/Props/FX: 7(would be higher if we got to go through house of wax/creepy house)
Length:3 (VERY dissapointed with the shortness of this)
Total: 3.5
