View Full Version : I Dont Know What Most Of You Are Talking About

Truth is what I aim for

i dont know what you poeple are talking about. everyone that has come out of this haunt is either laughing so hard because they had such a good time. or they are walking out bull legged becuase they pissed their pants. everyone has enjoyed it. i will admit that yes we do have to work with our actors. they are new and we just have to work with them. but besides them we are still up there with the rest of the haunts. im not saying that we are better than everyone else because we probably arent this year becuase of the fire code. that hurt us bad. but we got back on our feet to try to make money. isnt that what we are all just trying to do? trying to make a living. we all have to eat at some piont. so im just going to say that we are just trying to make it with what we have and what we do best. and thats scaring.

Ain't that the truth <End Sarcasm> And BTW how many people have you had walk out of there bull-legged from pissing themselves??? They may have pissed themsleves because of the hilarity that they encountered. Trust me and the other reviewers when we say that the scariest thing about this place is dropping 25 bucks to walk through this pile of crap. I said it once and I'll say it again, I would rather have someone smash me in the balls with a hammer than to pay for this "attraction" again.

Yes the fire code may have hurt this haunt bad ! I think what really hurt this haunt is that they decided to stay open anyway and charge even more money then last year (when it was worth it) Lets not get started with the new actors needing to be worked with ,cause most of them are children anyway! I can see highschool kids and colledge students but come on these are mostly middle school kids from what I saw. What I will say is I will spend my 10/13/06 at a haunt that dosnt just want money , I cant wait to hear about the big "Dead body giveaway scam" wait dont tell me its gonna be a dead rat or hamster ,maybe even some roadkill! Yup more laughs from Scam Park to make up for a complete dissapointment from last years perfect ten!

What they should be giving away is free admission since it should be ILLEGAL to charge to walk through both houses.

That is what is comes down to you JBOND007, your mad BEFORE you went cause I wouldnt give you free passes. Your thoughts are already tainted cause I didnt know you and you felt I owed you free tickets. Our house has been like all others opening weekend. You dont know what your talking about. I swore I would keep my mouth shut, but this is almost childish. There have only been a few people who will give a review like an adult. I NEVER said I had a perfect house. NOONE HAS. We have problems just like everyone else. Those that say they didnt is lying like some of the reviews. The fire code only effected about 30 % of our houses, We as other haunts changed the theme as one does every year. I dont expect to get a perfect 10 nor people choice, but I look forward more to the people who will talk like someone who isnt tainted or is someone of age. I read every haunt review here and those that have some idea of what to look at and talk about are great to read and learn from. But when you have someone who has a picture of an elephant crapping or someone that just looks for ways to contiue to slamm, is nothing but the joke itself. People who are tainted as you are JBOND007, work for the competion or have to have permission to use their parents computer for a one time post, dont really count in my mind. I look forward to seeing how the ones with a brain and no incentive feel about the houses, cause those are the ones that matter. Reviews are meant to be posted and learned from by those that it is about. This has been more of a way to see how we can outdo the next person on ways to be childish. Yell at me all you want, but god its getting boring reading all the haunts reviews. To each its own. I have talked with many people who have enjoyed my houses. I have talked with some that gave me useful information. All haunted houses are doing the best they can. Name one house that didnt have stafff problems, sound problems, weather problems, fire code problems, pricing probelms, jerks who feel they should get into the house for free problems, and I will give you the deed to my house. Lets be more adult like and give reviews that show some intelligence and some suggestions. Each house would love to learn from them.

First off I was fine with paying the price and was joking around about letting me in for free (Sorry if you couldn't sense it) because I know that the haunted houses are open for a limited time so they need to make as much money as possible. I went into your haunt with an open mind and I really did want to give it a positive review becasue you seem like a really nice person so I was wishing for the best. My point is whether you go the first night or the last night you should get the same show and experience either way. I was not there on Friday night (Opening night) so I did not experience any "technical difficulties" but when you walk past 3 actors that are more occupied with chit chatting amongst themselves rather than trying to do their job it not only looks bad on them but more importantly on you. The actors were not in character, and you could see them as you walked up on them so it's no surprise when they jump out at you.
To clear the air I do not work for or have ever worked for a haunted house so you can throw out the theory that I gave you a bad review to promote another place out the window.
And correct me if i am wrong but am I the only poster to post a negative review of Scream park???
In closing, if people throw down cash they should get a good show and walk out feeling satisfied, not as if they have just been ripped off by someone who is just trying to make a quick buck.

Sorry to pour more gas on the fire Witch lady (cause you do seem pretty cool) however you mention "my "houses, that seems to be part of the problem with scream park . Tell us dear how many haunts have you built or managed for that matter? I think its rather a poor judgement call on The owner to hand over a haunt of that size to a yard haunter or someone who just loves Halloween sooooo much . Have you ever scared anyone before? Have you ever acted before? I know you went to this haunt last year so why are you feeding people crap ! Seems to me your in over your head just a little bit sweety. As for the 30% comment thats just a flat out lie! How can you say 30% when you cant even use a building with a roof anymore? Face it Witch you walked into a sinking ship that was once a sweet one.So stop the blood clot whining! and run while you can! I also think its rude of you to assume any negative feedback on the fine work you all are doing at Scream Park comes from childeren,or other haunters ! Thats childish backlash if you ask me! This will be my last comment on this park till next season (if there is a next season) I would like to see it return to its past glory, dont get me wrong. However I will use caution before I ever give Scream Park another one of my dollars! So those are my questions ,and my final gripes about you lashing out at neg posts ,unless you bring more gas of course hee hheee Cant wait to read your reply!

Ok let me tell you who I am since that is all the buzz. I am a gradute from the University of Alabama with a 4.0 GPA. I majored in Business with a minor in Accounting which is funny cause now I am an Excutive Vice President of Accounting and Human Resources. I am in charge of 30+ employees and about 15 million dollars worth of assets. You dont have to be experienced in the Haunted House industry to run a house. I do this for fun and what I get paid is my tattoo money. I will send you a picture of it if you would like once its done. LOL That is what the owner is for. Marc hired me cause I love haunted houses and can manage a staff. I own my own house in Bonnie Brae and can afford to have you beat up.....LMAO, j/k. I am a very nice person , and since you have met me you know I am. You are a newbie here who only started posting when the season opened up cause you were too mad we wouldnt let you work for us again. You can deny it, you can ramble all you want, but in the long run, I have more in my pinky then you have in your whole body. So dont you dare tell me that I am not able to run MY HOUSE. It is my house I run it and Marc and Rich as you know are the brains behind the rest. Now to anyone else that wants to say I have no experince in this let me know and I will send you my resume. Since you seem to know it all, let me tell you what parts of the house 3 weeks ago we were told to close or spend the next 4 months updating to the new laws. Now once I tell you, then tell me a house that would just say ok , let me close my doors instead of trying to figure out a way to make it work. We closed down- House of wax, pyscho house, took the tent top off the clown room and closed in the long room where the bathroom scene was in. That is about 30% of both houses cause if you were there you would see all else is there and working just fine. Now.....let me get off my soap box and clear my throat with some nice cold tang, cause now I am thirsty. Say what you want about any houses, but first put knowledge behind your words if you want to look more then just an a**. I now appreciate all houses and all they have to go through to try to please jerks like you. Its hard and I now know that every house in this site, should have atleast our respect for trying and doing the best they can. I dont expect to be perfect or do something perfect or have a perfect house, all I can do is my best. But go take your I am waiting for your response and post it elsewhere cause I know that it is nothing but a fart in the wind. I applaud all houses this season I think everyone has done a good job to whatever level that may be. It takes alot of steel balls to make, run and deal with the public in this industry to only have snotty nose princesses like yourself ramble when all they are are disgruntled ex workers. Now I am done talking about this. I will not be waiting for your reply, I dont care. I still invite all to my house and if they dont like it then I am sorry if they do either way great but it will be nice to meet some of my friends from here and still have a fun time.

Sweet, I love this stuff! O.k now I am the angry ex-employee that knows your hole staff, before I was a child with permission to use my parents computer,do you know how childish you sounded in that book you just finished writting? You dont need expierience to run a haunt ,thats great! Now I wanna meet you just to show you how silly your acting . But gas is expensive! Who knows maybe fiday the thirteenth would be funny!

The customer service alone makes me wanna call Tom Martino , and please let this Rich guy know he never gave me my last paycheck. I may be a newbie to actually posting anything on this site ,but have checked this site for three years now to help me decide what haunts we should go to,and Scream Park was the shit last year and all of a sudden it sucked major ass this year. Here you are promoting how knee slapping great it is, with 30% of the main house gone, not to mention you chopped the 70% that was remaining in half so you could take twice the money out of my pocket for half the show! You cannot justify what you did. I am not a dumb little kid thats gonna go "wow mom they made two haunts from 70% of a haunt can we go again, cause the witch says the radio will be there too!" Yes I think you should have closed the doors rather then ripping people off! like me a very dissapointed customer ( no wait employee) http://www.octoberlounge.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.gif

Holy Cow!! Is this October Lounge or Jerry Springer? Good grief.... http://www.octoberlounge.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.gif

Here's how I see it, not that anyone asked.

1. Owning and running a haunt is an expensive and risky business. Hats off to those who at least have the fortitude to take a run at it.

2. There is an extensive amount of time invested in creating a haunt regardless of how it turns out, and I don't think any haunt owner builds a haunt in the hopes of having a lousy one.

3. You know the saying...."You can please some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time. You can't please all of the people all of the time."

4. What I like and dislike in a haunt may be the exact opposite of your likes and dislikes, and that is ok, and doesn't mean that the haunt itself is bad. It just means we are individuals with different tastes. There are things that people will like and dislike about every haunt they go to no matter what the owners do.

5. If there are things that you dislike about a haunt, instead of flaming owners on the board, why not set up a meeting with them and talk to them about ideas you may have that could be useful? Be proactive and give constructive criticism ALONG WITH your thoughts about solutions to the areas that could be improved. Don't add to the problem, be a part of the solution. If any owner wanted my one on one ideas about ways to improve, I would be happy to sit down with them and work together to find solutions.

I totally agree, this whole deal with screampark is getting old. I am on here to see which haunts you guys think are the best. I have been into ScreamPark multiple times this year and it just keeps getting better and better...i have also been a regular customer for 3 years now. I think that you all are entitled to your own opinions, but state it once, and get on with life...its not that hard.

ITS A FLIPPEN HAUNTED HOUSE HOLY CRAP! ITS NOT LIFE OR DEATH!

Ohkay...I am done...continue throwing chairs or whatever you do :-P

Oh, redskittle-have you ever thought of tapping your potential as an actor? Running a register all night can be so emotionally draining. I work Monday through Friday at SAFEWAY, so I know only too well of what I speak. Why...oh, sweet ZEUS, WHY...do you guys let alla those drunken arseholes through? It only jeopardizes the security of all involved. Is it because bucks mean more than quality and safety for everyone who is out for fun. *shudder*

I see. You guys at the front desk don't have access to a breathalizer test, in spite of obvious indications that could otherwise prohibit admission. That explains a lot of the trauma that I had to go through. No hard feelings.

Skittle=Rollie pollie, thats her new name. She is one of my ticket takers at the entrance of one the haunts. She cant even handle the chainsaws when we are closed and our in the actor lounge for a post meeting. They still freak her out there. How funny.
