So this was my first haunt of the season, my first impression driving up to it was that this was going to suck, it looked kinda small and very amature but as got in line i tottaly changed my mind, fortunetly for me i went on a sunday so the lines were only about 20 min, i totaly liked how while even waiting in line you hade something to look at. i thought the groups where paced out really well once i was in i never saw anyone else. i think that some fog effects in the bog\swamp area would have been nice though mabey even a fog chiller? in regard to the blog about the general overuse of chainsaws in haunts i thought this one was well played out. although i knew the second i walked into the area their was going to be a chainsaw i was still scared, the strobe was well positioned and succesfully disoreanted me. and face it if you have a chainsaw running after you but you cant really see it or it seems to pop in and out of nowhere its really scary. I am a strong advocate of themes throughout the haunt or a story line however i loved the detail of the different scenes and the landscaping was amazing. they also added some effects that went well with the supposed terrain. i defenetly give this haunt 9 the only thing that would have made it better was the scare factor, the actors did statle me but i never with the exeption of the chainsaw feel actually scared or umcomfortable.
