The forecast looks good for The Asylum. It really depends on whether some of the mainstays are gonna try to up the ante this season. Here's hoping!

I sure hope so because last year I was very dissapointed by The Asylum. Like you said in another topic they just kept cramming people in.

The best job of crowd control that I've ever seen was at Scream Park last year. They seemed to have mastered the art of timing the groups. I was impressed.

I enjoyed all of the Haunts I attended last year.

I think that the three at Hauntplex were the best in terms of quality of sets and overall experience. I think they get screwed in the ratings, but that is just my opinion.

I had the most fun at Scream Park last year. The Haunted Denver Night on Friday the 13th was a blast and meeting some of the Critics and OctoberLoungers was excellent. They had the best chainsaw guys of the Haunts I attended and the Fireshow rocked.

The Asylum was much better last year than the year before. I enjoyed it very much, in spite of the torrential downpour that night and the way the groups going through became one giant conga line.

This year?

I expect Asylum will continue to improve. I am confident that the Hauntplex will be awesome. I am hopeful that Scream Park will continue to be as much fun as before.

I hope to attend more Haunts this year.

I am definitely looking forward to Spider Mansion. I really enjoyed it last year, and plan on going this year. I hear good things....

Also... I know I work for them, but Terror in the Corn definitely sounds more promising this year than last. We are allowed to have Blood back! YAY....

terror in the corn does look like it will be a good one this year
But i am hoping The field of screams can pull it out, i like the setting and it has the potential to be pretty sweet.

I'm not sure of all the haunts that will return this year, I think Slaughterhouse Gulch is back isn't it. I was pleased by that one last year.

I also will be happy to see screampark again, thats always a classic.

I loved Hauntplex last year and I've been saying that I'm excited to see it again this year. I had to go back and double check my reviews and I gave it 8 - 8.5 (Very Good). It was one of the first ones I visited last year, but it was really solid. I still remember the houses being some of the most surprising and innovative haunted houses I've ever been in. I loved the set design and use of space. I think some of the acting could have been stronger, but it was VERY early in the season.

Either way that was then, this is now and I'm looking forward to seeing what they pull out this year!

I guess I'm psyched for every house for a different reason, but here are a few that stick out in my mind along with Hauntplex.

-I loved Field of Corpses last year, GREAT THEATRICAL WORK!
-Terror in the Corn has great set design throughout and a nice looooong haunt, plus i like the trailer ride...
-Haunted Field of Screams was the best set up all year long.
-Slaughterhouse Gultch - very dark, very unnerving
-CarnEvil - made me have that nervous laugh thing going, totally having a great time, scared out of my mind and in a maze!!!
-Frightmare - Classic and Killer!
-Murray's Massacre - had some realy wild set design and impressive scares.
-Scream Park - loved having two houses with lots of different elements, great location!

I heard Sick and Twisted won't be around this year, that was just like it sounds and I'm going to miss it! And I actually really liked 25th Hour for the storyline and use of space, I think its also going MIA... not sure though.

Looks like we're all getting excited! won't it hurry up!

I need to go visit a ton more, I'm lacking on being able to see them all... ya know money wise!

From what I saw last year, the bar has been raised and i'm sure each haunt will bring their own surprises and new elements into the mix to create a very unnverving and bloody scareriffic good time. I am sad to see the The Sick & Twisted Zone/Alien Zone combo haunts gone this year - to the owners: come back to us! These were, in my opinion, two haunts that brought something completely different to the table by using very creative effects that assaulted all 5 of your senses and left you sickened and disturbed - in a good way http://www.octoberlounge.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif

alas, i'm glad some of my other favorite haunts are still around! Looking forward to all of them actually, particularly Murray's Massacre, Field of Corpses, Asylum, and Frightmare. Im waiting to pleasantly surprised by all of them though and eager to see who is going to rise to the top!

one more week until October!!!

I hope that Frightmare can change it up a bit! I have always loved that haunt. I even drove from Parker to check it out every year! What more in devotion do you need? http://www.octoberlounge.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif

Gosh, we need at least ELEVEN more witches to complete a proper coven (rhymes with oven).

I dont know if I could handle sharing with 11 other witches, I would feel neglected and pout. Not a pretty picture!

Sorry, no pouting allowed. New User Agreement regulations.
