Opening Night

Went to FOC tonight for opening night with some people. It was pretty cool I thought. A lot of it was the same as last year but they did mix some things up. I laughed more than i was scared but thats fine with me. Other people in my group were the ones getting really scared. My only real complaint is that there didn't seem to be enough actors. There were a lot of big dead spots with only scenery.

You'll have to remember it's opening night, and almost ever year opening night is always missing a ton of actors lol...

Yeah im excited to check this haunt out. It looks really awesome from last years reviews, and im going with a friend in two weeks, and we are both amazingly excited to see what is inside.... ive heard the props are scary as hell. Like The Babies Nursery! creepy. muy creepy.

Yeah, that is one reason why I don&#39;t care for the haunt. I did not get a ticket even after waiting an hour and I got turned away. To have a limited number of tickets being sold is a bad business practice. I hope you enjoy it though. Good luck getting in.

Well, it&#39;s not the limited number of tickets that I think is bad. I know that they have to end at a very specific time because of either covenant controls or city regulations or a combo of both. The bad part is that if they have 200 tickets to sell (arbitrary number here) why do they continue to let people onto the property until the 200th ticket is sold. Really, couldn&#39;t they talk to each other and say "hey, we only have 50 tickets left, stop letting cars into the lot." Simple fix, it&#39;s not revolutionary business tactics.

Well moving away from the negative talk, i went tonight and it was awesome! I always love FOC and i wasn&#39;t disapointed this year. If you go on a thursday night you will be fine with getting a ticket and also if you get there around or a little bit before it opens the lines shouldn&#39;t be to bad. I went tonight around 8 8:30 and there were two other groups in line ahead of my group. It all depends what day and what time. I was a little bit upset though with the fact that our tour guide didn&#39;t really scare us. She was nice and all and her make up was good but i felt like it wasn&#39;t a priority to her to scare us, plus it also seemed like she wasn&#39;t really wanting to be there. One last thing about the tour guide was that i was really disapointed she didn&#39;t skip through the sewage pipe and drag a piece of wood along the walls of it. That would really make it seem like this was the tour guide&#39;s playground but other than that it was good. I found myself screaming a few times and the costumes were awesome. You could never know when someone was going to pop out at you. Everyone stayed in character and i&#39;m sure my friends and i made that tricky for them (we tend to talk back to the actors as we pass through the haunt. You know they say "yum this one smells fresh" and i tend to or someone else may make a comment of "Thank you i put on deodorant today for once" in a joking tone and they say something back and so on). I would highly recommend visiting FOC this year because you will not be disapointed.

some people think our guides are what make our house unique (or at least one of the things making it unique). Some people think they are just a distraction. Some people want them to be more of an actor, and others think they should just shut up and let the other actors do the scaring. It is hard to please everyone but I&#39;m glad you had a good time last night.

I am one of the people who loves the fact that it&#39;s a guided tour. I hope FoC never changes that part.

Haunted Field of Screams is the one whose location moved slightly.

Field of Corpses has been in the same place for a few years now and is a different attraction. (And in my opinion, a better one.)

If by how long is it, you mean how long does it take to get through, it generally takes between 30-40 minutes, but that depends a lot on the speed at which your group walks. Also if we happen to be busy that night your trip through will probably be a little shorter, because the fact is that if we have a lot of people waiting to get in, then it forces us to move groups through a little bit faster.

on average it take about 30 minutes or 25 on slow night like sndays and thursdays it takes 30 just because we space the goupes out and us guides can take our time on friday and saturdays its fast pace nights and we have a time to keep so it take about 25 minutes we dont mean to rush we just have to space the goupes out but to answer other questions we dont have a limted tickets we just have to end at midnight on saturdays and fridays and if the que line and ticket is full we really cant take any more people because we will go straight to midnight thats why if you come on thursdays or sundays its a great time because as long as you get there befor 9:30 you can get in and on fridays and saturdays come around 7 so you can get in for sure

Freakyactor, are you new the the forums? If not, sorry for repeating myself if so then... The "People&#39;s choice" is hilarious! It comes down to who has the most actors with internet access, not an actual representation of the people&#39;s choice. I kind of would like to see it come back because it was really funny to see Scream Park win with 159 votes over Field of Corpses with 157 votes and Frightmare in 3rd with 8 votes.
