Hey Everyone its Redskittle,
Alright so I went to a couple of houses last night and I think that this year is going to be a great one! I dont really have a "scoreboard" or whatever its called like the real critics but I will tell you what I liked and didnt like about this haunt...and of course, if you should go or not.
The things that usually stick out to me are 1) Actors (how believable, staying in character, makeup, scare factor) 2) Props (is it real looking, was there much time and effort into it, does it fit the theme, gory? or just stupid) 3) Storyline (Does it even have a story line? Does it fizzle towards the end? Is it even a good story line? Does it scare you?) 4)All in All Experience (including wait time, money, should you go?)
Sorry, I just had to get all that out!
The Asylum (Opening Night, Sept 28, 2007)
Actors - The actors are 100% amazing in this haunt. I was walking at fast as I could just to get away from them! They had some really cool acrobatic moves and having people climb on walls like spiders is just creepy to me. They scared us like they really liked and enjoyed to make people SCREAM! They kept in character and did not come out of character at all. I love the actors here and are improving each year I come to this haunt.
Props - The outside of this house is . MUCH better than last year. The front made me wonder how much cooler it was inside, and let me tell you, they didnt let me down! There was one point where the strobe light made me feel as if the walls were moving! How scary, especially when you have a chainsaw guy chasing you down the hall way! Nothing was out of place and everything seemed like it SHOULD have been there.
Storyline - As always the Asylum is well...and Asylum. Full of crazed people with like mental diseases that like huge things and scary things, and ripping peoples heads off. Scary? I think so. I would NOT want to walk alone in a house with tons of psychotic people running around. And they deffinitly dont let that storyline fade in the middle of the house.
All in All Experience - Deffinitly worth your time and money. It was really good this year and right now the lines aren't that long. And even if they were long, the guy who lets you in will deffinitly give you a good scare. For me, there really werent no negatives about this haunt. So...I dunno!
