I went to Carnevil on saturday night and I would say it was pretty good. There was very little actors which i guess is expected for opening weekend but it kinda sucks when you spend $15.95 to get in!!! The actors that were there though did a great job and the props were also great!! I think the very beginning was the best and there was absolutely no line at which was also a plus!! All in all I would say it's a haunt worth giving a shot!! http://www.octoberlounge.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif

So you went to Carnevil and Curse of Slaughterhouse Gulch? Hmm, that's cool, I think I would've just stuck to one location if I was gonna go to two in one night instead of driving 20 miles just because they're next to each other. Glad you liked them though, they sound pretty good.

Well I would have if the other one was open but it wasn't so That would have been kinda hard! The reason I went to "the curse of the slaughter house gulch is because when you go to Carnevil you can use the wrist band as a $5.00 discount to the curse of the slaughter house gulch or to the 13th door. And as I said earlier it was CLOSED till next weekend.

Oh, okay, that's cool. I guess I didn't read the closed bit. When you do get to the 13th door be sure to post your review on it, I'd like to see what you thought because it will probably be one of the ones I won't get the chance to see this year.

I will make sure to get back to you on the 13th door. It's ONE of the haunts that's on my agenda for this weekend. I'm also going to HAUNTED MINES in Colorado springs. It sounds really fun. There website says it's an hour and a half long!!!! We'll see!

It was ok, but there are better haunts you could spend your money at. In comparison its a little pricey for what you actually get when you go through it. Its alot of empty halls and black walls.

Although I have not been to this haunt this year, being that it has moved, I went last year and my anticipation was high as I was walking up to the haunt but after I had gotten in I was kinda dissapointed, first off it was kinda pricy and there was almost no actors, one actor I remember was wearing a mask and didn't even scream at me or make any attempt to scare me, all he did was look at me as I passed through the room, the effects they had were pretty cool, such as the walls falling inward and the elevator ride, with the floor dropping out from underneath me, but that was the only highpoint, the maze at the end got kinda boring with just black walls, neon paint, and black lights and no actors
I don't know if that has changed at all this year, because I havn't been this year, but if it similar to last year, i think there are better haunts to spend your money at

You heard, eh? Did you hear that at work last night?
Did they give you back the real chainsaw or is it the one with the speaker and prerecorded chainsaw sound on it again?

I've had a pretty strong opinion on this one (no shock there) but that may or may not come out here. In fact, probably won't, if your in the area I'd recommend the Reinke Bros. Haunted Mansion.

Yes the Haunted mansion is a must see in the area. And it is very affordable in comparison.
