So I've already whined about running into the group ahead.

What are your other pet peeves in haunted houses?

Another one of mine is when an actor breaks character.

Well, I'm no stranger to what my pet peeves are but I'd have to say my biggest one is when an actor doesn't know when to shut the hell up. I'm paying to get scared and to see the hard work that goes into it (or not as the case may be) as a fan, not to be harassed; at a certain point it just becomes annoying.

I am developing some peeves.... one I think is going to be strong for me is the over use of "Rargh!"... in a well timed situation it can work... but when overdone it becomes like the little boy who cried wolf... I am finding creepy slurpy inarticulate gross noises uttered from a cold black room scare me WAAYYYYY better than "Rargh!" ... just my opinion.. I have no idea how hard it is to be a performer in a haunt...

Running into groups or other people ahead of me who are too afriad, or when actors scare one person who is way ahead of a group, instead of waiting till the group of girls walk by to make them really scared. I really like a plot and story to be told.

My biggest pet peeve is when one really good haunt is split into two not so well done haunts and then the price is raised. My other peeve has been the tendency in recent years to just slap attractions together with no real passion about it. ( you know who you are)

My biggest pet peeve is actors that don't stay in character. It just ruins the mood and reminds me that I'm in a haunted house and not actually running for my life.
