So I busted out a t-shirt today that I haven't worn in years and years.

It's a black t-shirt that reads "I Survived Frightmare - Sixth Annual - 1989." And it has that shrouded ghoul that used to be their logo.

First, I am stoked that this shirt has survived multiple moves without getting tossed in the ARC pile. My wife constantly gives me crap about it, especially since I never wear it, but I decided today was a great day to bust it out of the closet.

In 1989, I was a whopping 9 years old. I'm glad that my dad had the presence of mind to get an Adult XL, so the damn thing actually still fits me. Truth be told, I think he bought the shirt for himself but decided to give it to me when he saw how badly I wanted it.

I can't believe that was 18 years ago. How awesome that Frightmare is still going, and that it's still one of the best haunts in town.

Anybody else have any old, cool haunt memorabilia? Ticket stubs or photos or something?

I still have my ticket stubs, AND the flyer the theater gave out when John Carpenter's "Halloween" hit theaters. And I thought I was the only sentimental fool!! http://www.octoberlounge.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif
Oh, and I also have my original recorded from TV video tapes of "Dark Shadows".

I still have my ticket from my very first haunt. It was catacombs about 3-4 years ago.

LOL, it's a miracle you actually went back to another haunted house! (That one obviously wasn't my favorite.) http://www.octoberlounge.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif

HA! Actually i loved it. i had a great time. I was younger then so that was probably why it seemed scarier than it actually was. Ever since then i have been an avid haunt fan.

Just goes to show that what doesn't scare one person completely freaks out another. At least we have like 20 haunted houses around here to choose from, huh?

That's cool you still have that ticket stub.
