I went to Murray's again last Friday with my hubby and a friend. I was so excited to go back. I actually left my sister's college graduation party to get there...it was just too perfect a night NOT to go: full moon, mist hanging in the cold night air...oh yeah!
I raced from the party to pick up our friend and came screaming into the parking lot at 10:35...it says they stop selling tickets 1/2 hour before closing (which was 11 on Friday). Luckily, there were still people at the ticket window and they were still selling tickets! The line seemed long, but moved pretty fast and we waited maybe 25 minutes.
The haunt seemed longer and better-lit in places. I was most bummed the fact that there were fewer actors than my other trip through. So, there were some places with no actors and nothing going on. I'm not talking about the few places where it's supposed to be dark and you get totally turned around...those parts rocked. A good majority of the actors that were there were totally into it but some seemed like they had had a long night...well, we were one of the last groups through.
My husband and friend really enjoyed it...neither of them had ever been there so they thought it rocked! Sometimes I feel a tad bit let down when I go back through, but I think that's because I'm expecting certain things to happen and maybe that actor is off for the night or that prop didn't work. Whenever I come back with someone, like this time, that person always enjoys the haunts I pick for them...Murray's was one of those...they had an awesome time and so did I!
