I&#39;m not sure what exactly they&#39;re trying to do, but the complaint of excessive promotional posts has been noted. Just FYI, standard procedure for something like that is that the user&#39;s Warn level gets increased by 1 and their posts get moderated for a while. There&#39;s kind of a process involved before we all-out ban somebody, because hell, even I have broken my own rules every now and then in seasons past. http://www.octoberlounge.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif

Oh, and FYI, this particular post isn&#39;t necessarily an infraction, as it&#39;s looking for casting in a category intended for that purpose. Why they&#39;re pushing a haunt in Texas, I&#39;m not yet sure. The offending messages were the similar posts in categories like the horror movie section.

People looking at us nationally, letting us know whats out there. What are we teling all the owners and such that maybe heard Rob at the convention. "Hey we are a great site, we have a large group of followers, we are something that you could learn for your audience, but just dont talk to us because we will jump to kick you out of our site if you try to bring the outside world in". I am glad Rob uses caution first. Alot of us can&#39;t spell here, that isnt a sign of anything.

I think after seasons past it should go relatively without saying that I don&#39;t ban people unless there&#39;s a major reason. In fact, I&#39;m not sure if anybody&#39;s ever been banned from the October Lounge. At least with the new boards we can moderate if necessary, and I like that idea better than banning someone. I like everybody, even the ones I don&#39;t like.

Witch you seem to have misunderstood me or are perhaps answering someone else. You should know better than most that I don&#39;t jump on "new" people just because they&#39;re new or ask to have people escorted off the site. I&#39;m all for national exposure and encouraging new members to post provided that they have something constructive (negative or positive, true or false or a flat out opinion) to say, I just don&#39;t like wading through messages (admittedly it hasn&#39;t gone this far) of "check out my haunt www.loser.com" and "see this movie, www.losermovie.com" and on and on.

I&#39;m not saying to ban the guy because he&#39;s annoying me, I&#39;m throwing out the idea that it&#39;s someone that has, in probability, logged onto every halloween related site for some unbeknownst self promotion. I&#39;ve never called for someones ousting because they&#39;ve annoyed me, I&#39;m just offering my suggestion as it seems that this is simply another "stinger" (who popped up sometime in January on the old HD forums) that was a spammer. Gotta give this guy some credit, at least he/she is posting on related topics and not advertising online casinos; I&#39;m only citing the duplicate posts and lack of replies (with little or no factual basis) as a reason that this person should be noted.

I just want us to be more visual before we attack and make sure we dont do something wrong. You do know more then I do on past headaches and I do trust your thoughts and any red flags that you may see. I am just adding my two cents in to others that things have changed this year and we may have new headaches to face or not to face.
