Ok, so I figure the OL'ers would probably appreciate this post.
As many of you now know, we have been working on the 13th Floor Haunted House for some time now. It's located in an industrial district, in an old warehouse, which sometimes creeps me out as it is. But, this is where it get's interesting.
Warren was working out there late at night, by himself, last week. He was working in the front of the building, doing some painting. While he worked he was listening to some music over the sound system. Suddenly all the sound shut down. Thinking this was strange, but probably someone playing a joke on him, he yelled out to see who was there, no response. Then he hears what sounds like a paint can, seeming to have been thrown into the waiting area, bounce along the concrete floor. He called out again, with no response, so he started to sneak around seeing who was playing a trick on him, he found nothing. He did however, find a spray can that he decided would make a good return scare, if someone was there messing with him, so he took it and threw it across the building making a similar noise to what he had experienced earlier. Nothing, no response, no one came out of hiding. Creeped out at this point he bailed, rather quickly, got the heck out of there.
The next evening, after returning to the building (not alone this time of course!), he went back to where he had been painting, he had spilled some paint while he was working the night before. Smack dab in the middle of the paint spill was a spray can, neatly placed and dried into his puddle of paint.
So, needless to say there have been jokes running around the place since then with everyone saying "make sure the ghost doesn't get ya"
Until last night, Warren and I and another of our crew, decided to work late. There is an area in the house where two days ago, a wood walkway had been painted, just prior to us leaving for the night. It was getting late, after midnight, and we shut the lights off in order to work on some lighting. We started at the front and walked through, when we hit the area where the walkway had been painted, coming out of it, and going down the hall a few steps were footprints from the paint. It was easy to assume that someone did an oops and stepped in the wet paint, and tracked some down the hall, however as we stared at the prints, we realized these were the prints of some type of boot, or work boot. No one had been there after the fresh paint was laid down, and above all, no one out there wears boots.
I snapped a photo with my phone, I'll try to attach it.
So if this wasn't creepy enough, we continued our walk through the house working on some lighting, in one area there is a strobe that we were rigging, we ran an extension cord run from an outlet near the back up to where the light was placed maybe 50 or so feet from the back of the house. We went back to the room and plugged in the strobe, nothing happened. So we went to the outlet where the cord was plugged in, it was slightly out of the outlet, we pushed it firmly into the outlet, and looked towards the strobe location, nothing. We decided to go back to the room, and check the connection with the fixture, pushed the cords firmly together, nothing. Assuming that perhaps a breaker was blown, or the cord came loose again, we went back to the outlet, and checked again, it seemed a bit loose, so we placed it again firmly into the outlet, still nothing. The 3 of us went back to the room, figuring we should check the adjustment on the fixture, before trying to track down the breaker, perhaps it was just set too slow and wasn't going off. The three of us walked into the room, looked up at the strobe, and the second our eyes fixed on it, the strobe went on. Needless to say, the 3 of us looked at each other with a "what the hell" look on our faces. The light stopped again, I looked in the direction of the light, it came on again. The feeling I had in my stomach at this point was pretty intense.
At this point, I as well as Warren and E, had enough, and called it a night.
Driving home I thought some more about one of the initial discussions I had with the building manager, he had told me, "this building should work out well for what you do, since it's haunted" he continued to tell me about the black shape that he had caught several times on the security/camera system. I laughed it off, as I have always been a skeptic, but after last night, I really don't know.
For good measure, at one point during the night last night, I did call out, "hey Mr. Ghost, we're cool with you if you're cool with us"
I hope he/she heard me.

Ok, after attaching this I noticed the other partial print which appears to be coming back the other way, however, I don't think the prints turn at any point, it was dark so I'll have to re check. What's weird is that it's only a very partial print, the others are pretty pronounced.
More weirdness!
