So just after the first two episodes of this new HBO series about Vampires integrated into our society, I have to say this is my new favorite show. From Alan Ball (Six Feet Under). Great F/X, storylines, mythology, and um.. (cough) vampire 'relations'.

unfortunatley i dont get the HBO. Really pisses me off after I missed Generation Kill.

I am going to check this out. I loved Six Feet Under( I used to work in the mortuary). What night is this on?

Good call, Jason. I was a huge fan of "Six Feet Under", so I was really looking forward to see what Alan Ball&#39;s next outing would be like. I am not all all disappointed.
"True Blood" is very entertaining, scary and sexy. I like the cliffhanger endings because they leave you with an almost unbearable craving for the next episode.
Anna Paquin is terrific as "Sookie" (hmmm, another "mutant" role).

This show is sooo good! I just stumble across it late one night when they were airing the re-run of the first episode and i instantly got hooked! I believe it is on sunday nights but i&#39;m sure not.

When was the last time we we saw priapism as a topic on ANYTHING on the boob tube? This show is breaking new ground.
