Haunted House Tour Group

So, last year I got caught up in work and "play" during the month of October, and for the first year in quite a few I didn't get to go to a single haunt... and I wept...

but *clears throat* on a more serious note, I actually would love to go through a haunt with all you guys. how would we go about organizing a day? I am free every night, so I guess it would be up to ya&#39;ll!

During the season while we are out reviewing haunts we wouldn&#39;t be able to simply because our schedule is so tight.
If we are able to have an HD night at a haunt, maybe we could do it then. We&#39;ll see what we can do, that would be fun!

I think HD night 2 years ago was great fun. I got to meet some of our regulars, but we did not have that big of a turnout from OL&#39;ers.

For some reason we did not have an HD night last year (or if we did, I didn&#39;t hear about it).

I think an HD is certainly in order! What we need is to find or pick a Haunt that we could gather at. Preferably one that has more than one attraction and/or other activities available. One that has a place we could all get together (a pavillion or something) would be a bonus.

Scream Park was an awesome location two years ago and would probably be a good choice again (particularly if they get the Firemancer crew to come back out). Terror in the Corn has other things going as well and would be a good choice. I&#39;m sure there are more out there. Maybe we can get a Haunt to cut us deal regarding price.

As for what night, a Friday night would be a good choice since many people would not have to work the next day. I&#39;d suggest something early or mid-October so the Haunt is not overcrowded.

The most important thing: Let&#39;s make sure this happens! We&#39;ve talked about this kind of thing in the past and for some reason it didn&#39;t pan out.

What the hell...

I vote that we meet at Scream Park on Friday, October 10th.

I need to speak to the mayor of the town if you will and see what he thinks. I am sure If I find a few good remaining brains in the City of the Dead, we could arrange something.

I&#39;m such a haunt nut (and Love, love the info about the real haunt stuff - by the way) that I arrange as many visits to haunts as my friends are willing to go to. I&#39;d love to take part in a meet, greet and haunt event.

Well I won&#39;t make it, Catwoman, but it sounds like there&#39;s a shindig going down on the 4th and 10th. Scream Park is typically a good place to meet people because, well, I don&#39;t know how it happened I suppose that was all HD&#39;s doing. I also like the Asylum but I&#39;m biased on that one because I&#39;m fairly close to it (that or Frightmare or Haunted Field of Screams).

I know, I know. I&#39;m not trying to take anything away from Scream Park or throw anything towards the Asylum. I was just saying that it&#39;s funny that everyone wants to meet up at Scream Park since it&#39;s not exactly central and for many people it&#39;s not even convenient but people still want to meet up there because you guys have developed a great reputation. You know it&#39;s time for the season when people start about meeting up at Scream Park because that&#39;s been the norm for the past 2 years now. Trust me it&#39;s not a slam at all! And it&#39;s not a plug for the Asylum or Frightmare, I live about 3, 4 miles from them respectively and only about from HFOS as well so those are obviously the most convenient for me to meet up.

I changed the 3/4 to 3, 4 since I don&#39;t live three quarters from them.

We are brewing up a couple of HD nights at a couple of haunts. The final plans are being made and we will announce them once we have them. We are looking at October 18th & 25th but those dates are not in stone at this time.
We plan on having the critics team there, contests, giveaways and FUN!! The team is looking forward to meeting as many of you as we can!!
