Has everybloody seen this? It was Stan Winston's directorial debut. I only wish that he had gotten more chance to write and direct. He gave us so much, from "Predator" to "Aliens" and many other projects ("Monster Squad", "Iron Man"). With "Pumpkinhead" I think that he demonstrated the abilities of a true auteur...what a shame he wasn't allowed to give us more to treasure.
Anywaysies, I'm gonna be showing this film and a whole lotta other gems at my Hallowe'en Party. I hope that some you will be able to attend.

RIP Winston, a true artist! Pumpkin masks tend to be my favorites in my collection. Something about pumpkins with monster like qualities just take the turnip idea up a notch on Halloween.

I mean who could possibly carve a turnip these days http://www.octoberlounge.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif

Not only that, but boy those dudes sure were cool on those motorcycles! Seriously, that death scene is almost as bad as Pet Cemetary to me. Seems when I was a kid, scenes like these made you truly appreciate life and the underdog, the nerds, the dweebs, and the Dweezil Zappas.

I always wished I could have a pumpkin like that in my backyard.
