Hey HD crew,
As a fan of all haunts, I am curious for the entire haunted house community if any media outlets are in communications or the likes with HD this year. I know last year we had some people drop in the forum and ask for some recommendations on stories and such.
I am only asking because if you get coverage, we all get coverage and it boost all attendance for haunted houses; and yes I will say it, make becoming a premiere haunt extremely attractive. It would be great to have your rankings used on 9news or something like that. I also think this would be cool as people like Hellraiser and such that submit rankings can know they are part of something fun and may even have their reviews used on a media outlet.
Any media outlets reading this? It is the time to make everyone excited for frightful entertainment on the weekends. Get to know the awesome, dedicated, passionate people at your local haunted house.
Just curious, you can tell me to go take my fake blood and go haunt, but I would like to know for future reference if these avenues are explored. Any radio station DJ's on board to read your rankings on the air? Based on recent news articles, the Halloween spending is to remain high again this year. Let's remind people of the professional work and dedication you guys and gals do and the fact that Halloween is still just about fun and doing something extraodinary. Give them the good news for a change and not the bad news.
When we scare as one, we can all still have fun! I mean heck, I will put on my zombie cheerleader costume and reposition my man lobes and cheer for the entire haunt community in Denver. I am not shy!
