Yeah. It's a religious attraction and many people debate whether or not it constitutes an actual haunted house, though we have included it in years past in our directory.
Last year, they were planning to open at a new location in Denver and then cancelled prior to opening. I think it had something to do with the fire marshal.
Many cities have Hell Houses and I think a lot of them have gotten away with stuff that regular haunted houses never could simply because the Hell Houses are located in churches and less vulnerable to fire code scrutiny, but I think a lot of that has finally started to change.
I've never really heard many opinions on Hell House from our readers. What do you all think?

Never made it to this one although I am planning on going to one as a strung-out gay satan this year should one open in Colorado.

Hello, everyone. I saw a very interesting documentary about the people running this show for fun and profit (mostly profit). It seemed to me to be a bunch of so-called "Christians" acting out their darkest fantasies and presenting it as a warning to sinners. Some of the highlights include a young man dying of AIDS and an abortion clinic. I would never support something that is so obviously hateful and ill-intentioned.

Make that a young gay man... LOL That would be hilarious Perm, I'd go as your flamboyant date and see what they'd do, but I don't really care to give them any money.

I'll go for the show Perm and Tye are going to put on, but otherwise it is not something that I'd normally attend.

I have never had any desire to attend a show or whatever it would be called. I come from the south where these are everywhere and loved. But I don't believe in scare tactics with some of these issues as being the way to get a point across. For the most part they are given by people who has more skeltons in their closets but would rather show how they are perfect and others are wrong instead of showin themselves as they are. I was raised in a strong southern baptist community, and that is one thing I never took on. I am not a racist, I am not perfect, and I am noone to judge others. There would be more of these haunts then the real haunts and it was getting crazy. The only scare tactic that I support are when they bring busted up cars that have been in drunk driving accidents to the schools to show how drunk driving kills. That is not religion based but based on fact. *****getting off soap box******* sorry, back to being a witch.

Not to be too sacrilegious, but I find most things like this scarier than any horror movie or haunted house. And these people try to tell you that God loves you and will merrily burn you for eternity if you don't love him. If too many people buy into this kind of thing, we'll soon have real horror occurring - imagine the return of the Inquisition and the Salem Witch Trials coupled with today's technology - all done while people sing hymns and praise God.
