Commission?

I was on the phone with my sister yesterday who lives in Ohio. She was telling me that she knows someone there who runs a haunt and her actors are paid on commission...that is, the better scares you get out of people, the more money you will make. If you make someone pee, poop, or barf, you have given the ultimate scare, and have reached the most money you can make.

I had never heard of or even thought of doing this before. I was just wondering if haunt owners here do this at all or something similar to this? I think it's a cool idea, especially if you get kicks out of scaring people anyway.

I have never heard of it. Would be a good idea, more so for the seasoned actors. Would they have staff in each area all night to see or have porta potty monitors? I think it would be to hard to monitor.

That would be great, but I&#39;m not sure that it&#39;s anything more than the original 13th floor legend. IMO, The logistics of that would be almost impossible.

I&#39;ve worked in a few haunted houses, and yes, occasionally someone loses control of bodily functions. But it&#39;s definitely not the norm, so I think it would be hard to create an incentive for it where anyone could really make any money.

Also, I can see it now, actors running up at the end of the night, "they did pee in their pants, really they did, no I didn&#39;t spill my drink on the floor, it&#39;s really pee!"

Then we&#39;d have to employ an official "pee" analyzer, that may be a tuff spot to fill.
