I watched the Scream Awards last night...I was a little bummed out, they could have done better. The trailer looks like it will be a pumped up version of the original done much like Halloween. I may have to visit a theater to see it...I did with Halloween and was a bit disappointed, should have waited for it to come out on video.

yeah, the remake of Halloween by Rob Zombie was really disappointing, but I actually like Marcus Nispel's work (TCM remakes) - i think he really know how to bring out the gruesomeness in a horror film as well as breathe new life into a iconic legend.
