So, I know Chris and I have exchanged some emails and it sounds like he is in the same boat as I am with the yearly cold that usually starts with the voice being lost and then transforms to a cold, and extreme exhaustion from long nights full of physical scaring.

But, each night that first group of screaming victims will suddenly wake you right up. I am thinking that extreme Halloween exhaustion doesn't just happen to those of us that are involved in haunts. If you love Halloween, I am sure many of you are enjoying numerous parties, decorating your house, or watching all the awesome Halloween related shows on TV till 4:00 A.M.

Why do we do it? I know my answer= It is a time to enjoy the uncontroable, the mystery, and a little madness. Halloween really is magic to me and I know talking with people at the haunt, I am not the only one.

Shall we all enjoy this coming Friday night, remember the dead, and scare up delight. Don't get to zombified, November includes turkey and you all know you will end up on the couch sleeping :)

Speaking of Friday, what is everyone planning to do?

You got it, exhausted! I still can't seem to kick this crud. Coughing, hacking, and staying up till 3am, not a good combo. But in a week it'll all be over, and sick and all, I'll still miss it.

I will look forward to catching up on the OL posts, catching up on my favorite tv shows (my tivo is 99% full), and most of all spending time with my little ones, who I haven't spent much time with in months.

Then it all starts over again, we close, then less than 11 months later, it all starts again!

Wouldn't have it any other way.

I echo Chris' statement! my tivo is in major need of catching up (and I have the 200 hour hd...ugh), my kids probably don't remember me, and I have what I call my October cough because
I get it every year during haunting season...but yes, wouldn't have it any other way!
