You know everyone loves a gossip story, but this year I heard some doozies, spread by people I don't even know, or who I don't associate with. I'd like to take a minute to say, if you hear something that seems unlikely to be true, maybe you should ask some questions yourself. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, I'm pretty easy to find, and I won't hide how I feel, whether you agree with me or not. But some of the gossip has been ridiculous, and probably slanderous. Make your own decisions, and be careful who you associate with, it could come back to bite you.
Here's just one of the gossip fodders that I found ridiculous but not worthy of taking action on, it really doesn't matter, so I'll address it here rather than handling it a different manner. Lou Lafond and Lafond FX have nothing to do with the 13th Floor, never have. I don't even know Lou that well, we've met, we've talked, that's it. He seems like a good guy, and he's friends with some folks I consider friends. He has never had anything to do with the 13th Floor, and although I enjoy looking at some of his products, I've never purchased any.
So, if you hear this somewhere, and you've heard other things from a similar or the same source. You may want to rethink what you've been told, and as I said earlier, ask your own questions.
