Somethings Not Right Update

So prior to the season, I wrote about some of the strange occurances at 13th Floor. Random things continued to happen throughout the season, and as I write this, I realize we basically became a little "numb" to their going on.

But here's the one that took the cake for me.

One of our busiest weekend nights, I got a call on the radio from the ticket booth that they were running out of tickets. So I went to the back of the building and counted out some more tickets for the ticket booth, to finish out the night. I was standing near (40 ft.) from the restrooms, with my back towards them. As I counted I heard a swish-swish-swish sound behind me, which I automatically recognized as the sound of one of our "ladies in white" walking to the restroom with their costume swishing as they walked. I turned around to see who it was, and there was no one there. I turned back and continued my counting, there was the sound again swish-swish-swish, of course I turned, maybe I missed who it was and they were now coming back from the restroom, no one was there. I looked around a little more in depth and intently, no one, anywhere near me. I turned and continued to count, there it was again, at this time I realized two things, one that I had gotten used to these occurances, and two I was simply going to finish what I was doing and walk away.

Guess I'm learning to live with it now, but as I said in my posts before the season, I think it warrants some paranormal investigation of some sorts, so we'll see what happens when one of them comes out.

I will put on my bestest winter gear and bring my hot chocolate!! I actually had a dream that a bunch of us were there camping out and all kinds of scary stuff started happening. We were running and screaming all through the building and couldn&#39;t get out. Full blown panic was in the air! Then, the saddest thing happened......I woke up and realized I had been dreaming. sigh. :(

So, an update.

I&#39;m not sure that a sleepover is going to happen anytime soon. At least not till weather breaks, and it&#39;s warmer there, when we stopped by there a couple nights ago, it was freezing. Just warm enough so that nothing freezes, but too cold to bear for a long period of time. With the energy prices being where they are, it just doesn&#39;t make sense to keep the heat in such a huge amount of space, at a comfortable level for human occupancy.

However, some news of interest. When Warren and I stopped by the building the other night, we were meeting a friend who needed to pick something up. We haven&#39;t been there much at all since the end of the season. So as we stood there in the building chatting with our friend, we all at the same time heard what sounded like a girls voice saying something like "what are you doing". I know we all heard it at the same time, because as soon as it happened, we all got wide eyed, mid conversation, and immediately headed in the direction of where we thought it was coming from.

It was the first "voice" we&#39;ve heard there, and it was definitely creepy. Instead of live bodies, maybe we need to set up a recorder in there, and see what we catch. I know I&#39;ve mentioned in the past that the video surveillance system has caught a black shape moving about several times.

I know this will make most of you want to camp out even more, but it&#39;s just too darn cold. It&#39;ll be a while before we want to spend any extended amount of time there.

RIGHT!?!?!??!?! I would dress in 50 layers and be ready to brave the harshest elements to get a whack at that!! I take it you guys never found anyone that could have been responsible for that?
AND....any surveillance tapes to share?
AND...I have had some great activity in my house lately....here&#39;s my rundown.

Things are falling down off shelves in broad daylight and in the evening when we are all just sitting here hanging out. Last week, two knick knacks came flying off the shelf in the living room and smashed in the floor. We were sitting right here and there wasn&#39;t anything that would have shook or knocked them off.

We hear something that sounds like someone walking in room above us when we are all sitting downstairs and no one is upstairs at all, not even the cat.

I walked downstairs Thursday morning into the basement and woke my oldest daughter up for work. While she and I were down there we both heard a very loud man&#39;s coughing coming from the bathroom down there. We both went in the bathroom and of course, no one was there. The biggest problem with this is that this house is females only....where did the man&#39;s cough come from?

Last but not least, my oldest daughter and myslef have both seen on numerous occasions a black shape waft through the upstairs near my room. We have seen it as a reflection in the mirror going past the bathroom doorway and also just seen it waft by while we are up there talking.

Things are definitely busy at my casa!!!

Chris can we see the surveillance viedo? I would love to see it. I understand about keeping just enough heat in the building but I have a propane heater and would gladly bring it to stay warm also we don&#39;t need to stay the night just a couple of hours, or go to Luvs casa to see/hear her ghost. If we can&#39;t do that, lets go see Friday the 13th. The movie is more imporant at this time as my wife will NOT go to slasher movies, it would be nice to see a bloody movie on the big screen again! B)

We haven&#39;t been able to get surveillance video off dvr, it&#39;s one of those systems that erases over itself after a certain number of hours. So to catch it again, someone has to sit and watch the thing, which we&#39;re not doing right now. We will look into this in the future, once again, when it&#39;s warmer.

Something everyone is missing here, you&#39;re all willing to be cold, which means I at a minimum (and probably others) would have to be cold...I don&#39;t want to be cold, no matter how many ghosts may appear. They were there when it was warm in the building, so no need to chase them in the cold.

I&#39;m up for a Friday the 13th movie get together, on Friday the 13th :)

Woot! count me into anything/everything. I keep missing out on doing stuff lately, so I&#39;ll make it a point.

Ok, let&#39;s make this a plan. It will be playing on the giant screen at Colorado Mills, I checked the Continental, but they don&#39;t know yet what screen it will be on.

So, tickets are being pre-sold right now to the Colorado Mills Theater, the showtimes that evening are

5:15, 7:45, and 10:15

I was thinking we could all get tickets to the 7:45 show (which we can buy online right now), and meet at Colorado Mills, I know there is a Chili&#39;s right by the theater, if everyone would like to eat, at say 6:00.

What does everyone think, is this a plan? Who&#39;s in? Tell your friends.

I&#39;m with ya, I&#39;m a skeptic too, it&#39;s just too much weird stuff has happened there.

Possible explanations? It&#39;s an old warehouse, it probably makes noise right? It&#39;s just some of the other stuff that I can&#39;t explain, yet.

Believe me, I&#39;m a skeptic, when I was interviewed by the news for a "paranormal" story, I was no help to them.
