So the 2nd Haunted Denver event was a great time!

Anyone have suggestions to what the next event should be? and when?

I know there are some movie releases coming up, Last House on the Left?

Any other ideas?

I'm all in favor for that. I'm really looking forward to see how it comes out, especially since Wes Craven is producing it.

How about a movie based on a true story? It is called The Haunting In Connecticut. It is based on a family that bought a house that used to be a mortuary, and it's haunted! Now this is MY kind of a movie! If you want to see Mort get scared this movie will do it! :o It opens March 27th. What do you think Haunted Denver? Here is the website www.hauntinginconnceticut.com. Check it out! Tell me what you think!

The Haunting in Connecticut looks pretty good. I lik ethe storyline simply because as a kid I grew up in Aspen hanging out at the Sardy House. Back in it's time it was the old funeral home and was a great place to prowl around. I'm game, who else is in?

Don't even tell me, the long wait is way too torturous. Every day I want my job back more and more.

Went and saw it on Friday...better than the original and had some interesting moments, but overall, just another 'B' horror movie.

Well, the craziness continues, at least for me. I hardly have time to check the boards anymore and it looks like everyone else is in the same boat.

Let's see if we can pick things up.

So....how was Haunting in Connecticut? One of the people I worked with said it was worse than An American Haunting (which is pretty damning since I thought that was worse than Attack of the Killer Tomatoes) while another said it was just okay.

I haven't had the opportunity to see anything lately. Well, except for Monster vs. Aliens, which was fairly entertaining.

I decided to start watching some of the classic horror films to pick up my mood. I watched The Mummy with Boris Karloff last night. Great movie.

I actually liked Haunting in Connecticut. There were some legitatem creepy, albeit obvious, scares. and the closeup photographs of the actual house and ghostly images during film credits at the end were even more creepy. I thought the token priest/exorcism character was a little hokey too.

Now I'm looking forward to the following films in the next year or two:

The Crazies
AntiChrist
Cabin in the Woods (supposedly to be the horror movie to end all horror movies/ Joss Whedon scribe and Cloverfield director)
Thirst
Moon
IT remake (finally R-rated theatrical version!)
Hellraiser remake
Pandorum
Nightmare on Elm Street reboot
