Get ready for this one...I saw a horrow movie that I actually ALMOST liked!
Plot:
Dingy banker girl gets cursed by crazy gypsy lady because she won't give the old hag an extension on her mortgage. Dingy girl starts seeing horrendous things and has an awesome brawl with the gypsy hag. Of course, she's being dragged into hell.
Blah, blah, blah....how does dingy girl get rid of the curse? Watch and see what happens, twist at end is alright.
Pretty typical horror movie fodder with a couple of exceptions that made me ALMOST like it.
1. Some very cool special effects and makeup that were believable
2. Some scenes were very cheesy and campy and were reminiscent on "Beetle Juice". There were scenes that were supposed to be scary but were so campy they were downright funny, which was alright with me.
Anyone else see this one?
