Watched this last night. Starring Dennis Quaid as a workaholic widower who throws himself into his detective duties. A serial killer is on the loose who is using biblical reference to commit the crimes.
Dennis Quaid has 2 sons that he's trying to raise and not doing such a great job when he finds himself in the middle of a bizzare murder scene.
And just when you think you have it figured out, along comes a twist and then a turn and you're back to square one.
The gore in a couple of the scenes is pretty intense, set design is good, (although some camera shots were quick because props lacked the detail they needed.) acting and authenticity are pretty good. Dennis Quaid seems a bit off at times, but not enough to spoil the movie.
Awesome twist at the end, but it leaves a bit of a cliffhanger and your questions never get answered completely.
Overall, good film. Worth the cost of rental.

Three stars out of five for me. :D

Its called Horsemen.... Ive seen it and I hated it.. the acting was horrible and it didnt really make sense. and mostly there was no scare at all!

The movie fell more into the category of "Thriller/suspense" than horror. I didn't expect horror, so I wasn't let down there. I think the body of the storyline was possibly lost on some people because the religious connection was somewhat vague. If you didn't grow up going to Catholic school and church it wouldn't make much sense. They get pretty deep into the 4 Horsemen and the history behind them and it gets confusing.

It is pretty good, even if you only dig the gore scenes. One of the final death scenes is good enough to say the whole movie is good really.

That's the scene I'm talking about...it was great! it would take a twisted mind to do that to yourself.
