Jumbo Avatars

Is there a way to set it so that people's avatars don't show up so huge if they didn't resize them before uploading? I love the creativity in the photos, but the huge ones make the threads almost impossible to read.

That came up somewhere else..I couldn't resize mine in the user cp, but just resized it in paint, so I'm not jumbo anymore.
