all they used on that website was some word art and pictures they found online. I know never judge a book by its cover (or haunt by a website) but if they dont even give contact information I wouldnt take the time

There's part of me that feels that way Shadow, but.....if they are up and running, they may be quite good and just don't have a web developer for their site. Once I get down there, I'll let everyone know what the deal is.

Wow, their artwork looks almost as bad as the Starland haunted houses.

I'm tempted to write them off based on their site design, too, but I keep reminding myself that not every haunt has a massive budget. Look at what that Paranormal Activity movie just taught everyone -- you can go with a minimal budget and no high-dollar special effects and still scare the crap out of people. Would love to know if the haunt is worthwhile. Having that much space in that remote of an area is a really cool setup, if only it delivers.
Incidentally, if anyone does come across a phone number, let me know.

That's my thinking Shade...advertising may not be in the budget...could be an awesome haunt that's just under marketed.

Ive found that the high market ones can be really bad...take the new fright fest...not good at all...

From the comments posted on Haunted Denver, the haunt is not that great this year either. If someone isn't going to take the time to make sure their marketing (the one thing that they have to sell their haunted house to the public) looks good then you have to wonder how good their attraction is anyway.
If you aren't able to create good artwork yourself, then hire someone to do it. If you can't afford to spend something on the artwork for your marketing then you probably should reconsider being in business.
I know people are going to be saying, "Oh, but some people just do it for fun." Well, that's great, they'll make great home haunters. To be a professional haunted house you have to make money. Anything less than professional quality, whether it be the sets, makeup, or marketing can put a negative image on haunted houses in general.

True....but, it could very well be a sleeper. I'm going down there to solve the mystery as soon as I can!

I look forward to your report, even thought I won't be making it down there at all.

Weather may play a role in deciding if I can get down there or not. I wish there were someone that had some better info for us. The website is still the same.
