I think it might be time for an off season get together. Any good horror movies coming out soon?

Yeah, not so sure about that one.

Daybreakers is out now.

And, Horrorfest Movies are coming out at the end of January I think.

I'm down for that one. Also interested in The Book of Eli.

Anything around Valentine's day? Usually a slew of gore flicks around then.

You're not suggesting Valentine's Day the movie are you?

no idea there even was one, no. Although Shutter Island (Feb. 19th) looks like it could be promising. Not that I'm free on the 19th but if anyone else was interested.

Edited this because I saw that on Feb. 12 the Wolfman comes out. Looks like a pile to me but at least it fits the genre. Too bad Benicio del Toro is in it otherwise I might consider it decent.

Do you know the worst thing about being a werewolf? Tiny pink dog lipstick.

First off, Shutter Island looks amazing because Martin Scorsesse is one of my favorite directors, not to mention that he's working with Leo Dicaprio again, Second off, Benicio Del Toro is awesome dude! You ever seen Fear and Loathing??? not to mention classic old Anthony hopkins will be in werewolf. I think its too early to doubt that movie

Allright! I'm down for both of these. Should we make the 12th the next HD get together, and check out The Wolfman? Or wait for the next weekend and make it Shutter Island? I want to see both.

Oh, and Mr. Scary, how'd you get that picture avatar? Not the movie, the zombie.

Saw The Wolfman this weekend, it was ok, not great, but worth seeing. Kept a classic old horror movie feel, which was cool.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to make Shutter Island this weekend, last minute wedding to attend.

What's next up?

went and saw the crazies. thought it was pretty good. It focused more on suspense then the Gore, which was nice to see. not the best movie ever made, but definitely worth seeing

It's kind of sad how dead this board is. Are there any other active & haunt-related ones that you guys are frequenting?

...or is the Denver haunt scene just dying out?

I think that this is just the way it goes, out of sight, out of mind. It'd probably be the same way with any seasonal site. There's a few national ones out there I check in on but it's pretty much the same thing, mostly owners and traders talking on there from December-August, it only gets active in primetime.

Universal Studios has House of Horrors. Kinda a year round haunt. I went through about 3 months ago and it was good except for all the people and only about 3 actors.
