I'd like to start a discussion on why there are not enough adults only/sign-a-waiver haunts in Denver. And I'm not talking about the "Hell's Delight" type of adult haunt where it's the equivelent of walking down colfax, I'm talking about some truly horrifying aspects. For example, actors can touch you, even separate you from the group. water, fake blood, mud can and will get on you. more disturbing and graphic/expletive scenes (not nudity). More screwing with our minds, or puzzles to figure out. more interactive, I guess.

That would be a serious undertaking ::ponders for a moment::: woah.... I'm definitely on the fence on if that would be cool or not.
But I'm gonna guess that in today's law suit happy, politically correct, terrorism scared, screwy society that something like that would have a hard time staying afloat. Just my opinion though... and I'm sure there are others.........

I'd be totally down with something like that, JAson, a "mature show" over an adult haunt. But Moodeous is right, in this sue happy society any decent lawyer could tear any waiver apart in court

Okay-so, let's have a private party and scare one another in adult ways. I promise not to sue anybody.

It should be like "Fear Factor" Haunted House edition. How about a room full of live wolf spiders. nah...too much..

How about a House on Haunted Hill event - where you have to spend the night in one. Or in Danver's Asylum (if you have ever seen Session 9, you know what I'm talking about).

or how about a walkthrough the Body Farm in Nashville at night? THAT would be scary.

Cheers for Session 9 !
Hey, jason-did you ever watch "Scare Tactics"? I loved that show-and always secretly hoped that one day I'd be the victim of a supernatural pranking. No such luck!
My favorite one was probably the "Bigfoot" scare, although the "Ratman" episode was pretty sweet too. Come to think of it, they were all very well executed, even if you don't care for Shannon Doherty (sp.?) I thought that she did a decent job hosting, actually.

haha Scare Tactics. I've totally seen that show. Its hilarious, as is Shannon Doherty. Then again, its only hilarious as a viewer. I would so not be okay with someone pulling that kind of prank on me. I'd much rather participate in the horror that is "Pimp my Ride".
And Session 9 was some crazy movie. My friend lived in Danvers Mass right near that place. Its big and creepy. Well it was after seeing Session 9.
What is this body farm you speak of???

The Body Farm is this special forensics school in Nashville where they place dead corpses all over the place so that they can decompose in various environments outside. Google it, it's pretty creepy.

Huh. Well thats really interesting. I wonder what it smells like.... I also wonder if I could seperate myself from the gore and see it for the science. I expected that Body Worlds or whatever its called to be a lot more intense, but the act of having preserved nerves and blood vessels and skin really took away the creepiness...

HBO or Showtime did a special while ago and showed this place. It was wild. They are trying to learn how the place and enviroment can affect the body differantly. They would have a body in a car, maybe one buried, it was wild. Do they allow people to come and walk through it? That would be wild as hell. But with my weak old heart I would be like the girl on Fast Times and gets lightheaded and has to leave the room before the body part is pulled out of the body.

I've always thought that a live manhunt would be really terrifying. Imagine yourself being stalked through a forest or a huge abandoned building or a scenario of your choice ( a desolate moon of some faraway planet, even). The antagonist(s) could be psycho-killers, zombies, giant kittens with bloody mittens, whatever floats your phobia-boat! I'd pay good money for such an experience, but I'm funny that way.

See that kinda goes into my kind of Haunted House , if I was rich to afford to do what ever I wanted. On a side note I think a scavnger hunt also sounds like a blast. I am looking into doing one down town with my staff as a team builder. Also a "whodoneit" type of thing also. heheheheheh it would be funny as hell if they had one that I could be the killer in the manhunt and go after my staff. That would freak them out and would really work hard for me or back fire and they all leave cause I freaked them out too much. Hmmmm thinking......
