Well, I have wanted to hit Terror of the Corn for the past couple of years. Due to getting there too late w/too long a line and too many haunted houses (er...corn fields) I haven't been able to hit it. Maybe this year I'll make it the first one to see!

I said it last year and I'll say it again:

I really liked this one two years ago but didn't go last year for the simple reason; I don't want to pay $20 for the haunt/corn maze when I don't want to do the corn maze.

Last year you could do the combo (haunt/maze) for $20 or the maze only for $8. No option to buy just the haunt, even after repeated appeals. So, in summation, if they're expecting me to pay $20 for a single attraction then I will not be attending this one again this year. However if they offer, say, a $14 ticket then I would be more than willing to go.

Anitronics don't always mean a better scare.

Remember The Dig? Some friends of mine, who were at one time into the house business, and reported that the most freightning thing about the place was the amount of money they spent on it.

I do hope to hit Terror in the Corn this year. I generally only get to see one or two houses at most in any given year. Last year, the night we planned to go, was the night it was closed. http://www.octoberlounge.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mad.gif

Curse my stark mortal phobia of corn and all things corn-related!
I used to have a recurring nightmare that involved flying scarecrows. The Creeper in Jeepers Creepers was similar to the creatures in my dream. The scarecrows were pursuing me, sometimes perching in the gnarled dead trees. They had eyes that glowed like dying embers.
